When you see cowboy boots and fringe detailed outfits paraded along the catwalk you know you’re at a show by Anna Sui!
With her current spring/summer collection 2011 Anna Suicelebrates her 20th anniversary and got me all excited with the lovely detailed outfits.
The trend material denim was to be seen in the shape of waistcoats with rainbow stitching on the back.Amongst many other outfits there were dresses in beautiful nude and powder tones and large versions of the typical John Lennon sunglasses.
The accessories worked their highlight magic: extravagant hair pieces and feather necklaces looked great in combination with the cool outfits by Anna Sui.
The finale was graced with Lily Donaldson wearing a wedding dress. I particularly liked this because it looks like the wedding gown of a harvest queen fit for a medieval wedding. The great thing about this wedding dress is that it can be worn as a cocktail dress afterwards.
I loved the entire collection: Indian princesses, harvest queens, trendy cowgirl s and so much detail. The outfits are simply gorgeous, cute, girly, casual yet elegant… as you can tell I would love to get my hands on the designs by Anna Sui quite badly.
